11/19-11/20: we've been having wonderful weather here on the coast for the past week or so. nary a cloud in the sky & when the wind isn't blowing, it's even been relatively warm. on saturday, rach & i went for a run up to nye beach and then back down to the north jetty. & then in the evening, d&d, ram, sylvia, rachel & i piled into jellybean for a trip out to corvallis for some indian food (yum!) & contra dancing! we met up with dacey at the restaurant and then with ric & linda at the first congregational (not presbyterian or congressional) church. a head-dizzying good time! on sunday, rachel & i biked towards toledo along the bay road and at mile 11, we met up with d&d and then all four of us, like the bike caravan in ET, headed back towards newport for lunch at the coffee house. as d&d rode back to toledo, rachel & i went to the beach to enjoy what was probably the last semi-warm day of the year. here are some pictures from the weekend:
