a quick post here.... i just wanted to put up an artist's rendering of what my dark brahma hen will hopefully look like in several months' time. marilyn, dawn, ram, fred & i (& maybe others?) put in an order to mcmurray hatchery last monday. our little chicks should arrive via the postal service near the end of this month. i'm excited about getting my chicken!

   Does this mean Khem is beating me to the "chicken" punch? I'm totally jealous. I guess I beat everyone to the "hoophouse" punch though.
